When SHOEBACCA.com steps out, we try to leave footprints that others might follow. We also like to leave tire tracks: specifically, bike tires. Team SHOEBACCA has been stepping up their leadership in community events that affect more than just their own friends and neighbors.

This year’s MS150 ride is happening on October 16 and 17 in southern California, and Team SHOEBACCA will be there, representing the spirit of philanthropy that SHOEBACCA.com embraces. Last year, Team SHOEBACCA raised over $23,000 and had 44 riders participating in the event. The ride was a memorable one, and left everyone with a feeling of accomplishment and a new passion for giving that has led us into this year’s event.

This year, Team SHOEBACCA has set a monetary goal of raising $32,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at the MS150 ride. With time still on the clock, Team SHOEBACCA looks to meet and even exceed this goal, thanks to the hard-working team members. Though 100% of our goal will be a great accomplishment, everything beyond that still serves the same purpose: contributing towards helping over 400,000 people in America living with MS.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society uses these funds not only to support research for a cure, but also to provide programs that address the needs of people who are dealing with MS every day. Everything from counseling to education, and from equipment to transportation come into play when helping people with MS. With many different symptoms, MS requires a broad spectrum of treatments.
